My stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Birmingham-Downtown-Tutwiler was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was convenient for attending nearby events, but the overall experience left much to be desired. The staff had some shining moments, but the outdated facilities and lack of amenities made it hard to overlook the downsides.

However, the age of the hotel really showed in my room, with some issues like a mouldy smell and water damage making my stay less enjoyable than I'd hoped.
